Rajni

Rajni was the first character I had fully designed in my head so I started from her. Rajni is  such a scheming little girl oh my god. But at least she never participates in fights. She's still really petty though, that's why she's pretty much BFFs with Misery. She's also a blind girl but she has a supernatural a sense of her surroundings and can always seem to tell what's going to happen, that's why I decided to make the universe pop out of her head.
I first painted Rajni form a front view when I first started the project, I also used some water colors I had found in our art class room but as I started painting I realized the paint looked quite awful. All the colors tinted to a gray and the water colors didn't work well with the paper I was using. I also didn't like how Rajni looked, she kind of looked like a volcano because of the way her hair flowed. So I decided to just start all over and draw her in a bit of a side view, I also got some new paints from our art teacher that looked much better on the paper and much more pigmented.
The painting process went really smoothly I didn't have many problems. After I had painted her I made some extra shading and finishing touches with colored pencils. When that was done I moved on to gluing the 3D pieces to my work. The pieces were some beads I had found from one of my art boxes I have at home. I had already forgotten about them, but thankfully I stumbled upon them while doing this project. When gluing the beads on one problem I had was the strings of glue I would get since I was using hot glue, but I was able to simply pull the strings out. I had also accidentally squeezed too much glue on a few areas and when I tried to rip the glue out I also ripped out some of the paper, but I just painted over those areas again.
Over all I think Rajni turned out quite good even if she doesn't really look  like how i imagined her in my head.
